To become a Flatworld Solutions team member, prospective applicants have to go through a 3-stage process of Selection, Screening and Induction.
Apart from internal referrals from team members and the major employment websites, we go even further by conducting campus interviews, attending job fairs, advertisements (via print media, radio, billboards and direct mailers) and through the Careers page in our website.
Potential Flatworlders go through a 3-pronged screening process. Our HR Managers verify each candidate's work history, references and qualifications. We then conduct group discussions to ascertain each person's communication skills, fluency in English (including accent, clarity and delivery) and confidence levels. Tests are conducted to gauge writing abilities, analytical skills and mathematical proficiency. Last but not least, we look at factors such as the ability to maintain composure under work pressure, levels of initiative and ability to work in a team. Based on the results of our extensive testing, we are able to assign a role to each new employee that best suits his or her abilities and/or preferences.
Post-screening, every Flatworlder must go through a comprehensive induction program where he or she learns about our company's specific offerings and processes, the outsourcing industry in general, and studies our stringent Code of Conduct and Data Integrity & Security policies. Additional formalities include a baseline evaluation of performance and quality, followed by pre-process and process training relevant to the assignment.
