The dictation services we use, are charged at a nominal per line rate. They don't charge for lines that are already in templates. I.e., they calculate the total lines minus the lines that are already in the template. The name of the company is Flatworld Solutions. I highly recommend their services. Turnover is usually overnight.
I first only exposed them to the basic demographic function, which they picked up on very quickly. Within a month, I had released front end charge creation for several types of accounts to them. Over the past, I have found them to be very accurate and responsive, which has freed up my staff to pursue more direct tangible activity, (customer service, A/R, etc.) on behalf of my customers. Just this past month of January 09, I made the decision to increase my commitment and work volume, to include payments and denials posting.
With the proper supervision and direct communications between my account managers and their staffers, we have experienced accurate postings across all accounts, daily reports of all postings activities, and direct lists of pending transactions, to include local data insufficiencies.
I have been encouraged by their timeliness and consistency and plan to increase my utilization of their services.
