Client Requirement
The client approached Flatworld's team for 3D modeling and stressed particularly on liability and insurance of work. They were unrelenting in terms of quality and timeliness.
Challenges
Their AI system collected a grid model with pictures that weren't 100% precise in dimension. A few underexposed images have to be enlarged to read the right measurements from the grid map. While underlying problems were found in the pilot project, the client corrected the bug at the code level in future sessions, but the system's overall complexity remained.
Our Solution
The customer provided us with interior photographs in grid maps so that we could determine measurements and generate elevation models in 2D and 3D using the Revvit modeling program. Object ID was collected and tagged in the pictures supplied by the customer using their own AI technique.
Flatworld's team used the tagged objects to improve claim pricing and save a significant amount of money for the customer in the US P&C insurance market. Raw pictures and dynamo scripts with object ID and dimensions were also supplied, for which we created a 2D and 3D floor layout.
Result
Our architectural and engineering team supported the client for 17-18 hours a day and the turnover of each image was 12 hours. The project cut new paths for the client and they scaled the requirement after initial success.
