The client is based in Mexico (Chihuahua) and is a leading general design firm. They have been involved in all phases of the construction process for over 600 buildings. The client provides specialized services for commercial, institutional, and industrial properties. They have a reputation for delivering results that are on-time and cost-effective.

Challenges Faced by the Client

The client needed a bill of quantity (BoQ or BQ) as an integral step in completing a proposed building extension. They also wanted help in understanding contract terms and meeting global standards and codes for construction. The project involved a requirement for a material take off (MTO) to aid in analyzing excavation, concrete work, masonry, and other critical tasks. The client provided drawings of the current building and the proposed addition.
