Challenges Faced by the Client

The client needed support in producing manufacturing drawings based on legacy versions of 3D SolidWorks drawings and PDF files that included equipment designs with legacy data. The client wanted to update the drawings to reflect equipment manufacturing advancements and changes. While the existing files and drawings were not based on any specific manufacturing standards, the new machine designs primarily needed to follow international specifications based on ASME Y14 guidelines. The client was seeking an engineering support services provider that offered a combination of highly detailed drawings and improved data security.

A team of six experienced drafters, accounts manager and a quality control analyst were assigned the task
Process included weekly reviews with the client and a quick turnaround for any needed revisions
Approximately 408 new 3D SolidWorks drawings were produced that adhered to ASME Y14 standards
The project was completed in about 60 working days
