The Requirement

The customer was looking for a service provider who could provide them with data mining services. The client provided us with an Excel spreadsheet with brand names and the geographical location of the stores. They wanted our team to provide more details about each brand.

The Challenges

Our team had to face a few challenges while implementing the project -

1. The customer wanted us to provide very accurate information about each brand. Therefore, we had to be careful with the data extraction process.
2. Our team found it difficult to find the company's original websites because there were many duplicate sites with the same name.
3. A customer asked us to use Google Maps to extract brand information, link to websites, and tag stores that feature the necessary lifestyle brands.
4. They also wanted us to get the company name, address, city name, state, zip code, contact number, website, and contact email address.

The Trial

The client initially chose a test project to gauge our services and resources. We provided a resource for the process that took one day. Our data management expert was able to extract data of 9-10 records during the trial.

Full-time Contract

Our clients were completely impressed with our services during the trial and transferred the entire project to us. We allocated 2 resources for the project, who worked for five days to complete the project. Each of the resources could extract about 150 records per day, and the entire 1,300 data mining project was completed in 5 days.
