Their healthcare compliance software allows customers to obtain expert validation via a database of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) - this unique approach alleviates compliance risks. As a testament to their success, the client works with three of the top five medical device companies and eight out of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies.

Challenges Faced by the Client

The project involved two primary aspects - primary research to update the existing Key Opinion Leaders and secondary research to enhance the KOL database by adding new experts. The primary research requirements involved profile information that included detailed contact data and organizational affiliations. The secondary research requirements included in-depth personal details such as journal publishing activities, professional conferences, press releases and clinical trials. A primary goal for the client was achieving faster data turnaround to facilitate more timely access to expert validations and to prevent product lifecycle management delays for their healthcare customers.

• Three team sub-units were created - Production, Quality Control (QC), and Quality Assessment (QA)

• Data was then validated and analyzed by the QC Team
• To maintain continuity and accuracy, the QC team prepared the data presentation
• As requested by the client, 90 percent of the data was in Excel format
