Educate, Enable, Empower (E-Cube)

In today's world, people have lost out on charity. This is well explained in the wise words of Martin Luther King, Jr., "I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, quality, and freedom for their spirits. I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, other-centered men can build up."

How E - Cube Began

Corporate organizations can lend a helping hand to our ailing society. At Flatworld Solutions we decided help society and bring about change and growth. At the beginning, we did not know where we could fit in, but that was when E - Cube started taking shape. E - Cube stands for Educate, Enable, Empower. The three ways we thought we can impact society with.

Finding the Right Partners

Finding a partners was challenging initially, as we wanted to ensure the following

• A long term, inclusive and participatory initiative
• An organization with whom we can partner for a long period
• Validating the money we were going to spend
• Systems and processes to facilitate our efforts and most of all
• Bringing about permanent change to the people we were helping

We then found two charitable organizations where we could lend a helping hand, namely, Prison Fellowship of India and Home of Hope.

Flatworld Solutions and PFI

Prison Fellowship of India (PFI) is an organization involved in the correction, welfare and rehabilitation of prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families. Flatworld decided to partner with PFI, by starting a computer literacy program.

The Home of Hope was founded by a former auto rickshaw driver who was concerned about the plight of the poor and homeless living on the streets of Bangalore. Flatworld Solutions decided to partner with the Home of Hope by supporting their financial needs.
